Shan

Shan serves Thai and Chinese dishes with local meats in Bozeman, Montana. The menu includes curry, noodles, and barbecue, all made with ingredients from local sources.

The owners' 20 years of eating and cooking across Asia, including time spent in Beijing, Sichuan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, inspired the menu, which features small plates for sharing that pair well with local beers, interesting wines, and ciders from small producers.

In the Cannery District, the design draws from Japan's cozy Izakaya, creating a mountain tavern atmosphere where people gather to share food and drinks, with local ranches and farmers supplying beef, lamb, and bison for dishes prepared using Chinese and Thai techniques and flavors.
